Sign The Petition
In Georgia, independent candidates don’t automatically appear on the ballot. Instead, they must submit a nomination petition signed by registered voters. For most offices, the required signatures equal 5% of the registered voters eligible to vote for that office in the last election. Signatures must be collected within a 180-day window and filed with the state by the summer deadline to qualify for the general election ballot.
To appear on the ballot on November 3rd, I must submit a petition by July 1st. Only Glynn County District 4 voters can sign the petition.
Step 1:
Visit MVP.SOS.GA.GOV to check your voter registration and voting district.
Step 2:
Sign the petition by July 1st.
