Write-in
Rachael Thompson

After my nomination petition was denied, I chose to continue my campaign as a write-in candidate. I believe voters deserve the opportunity to choose a candidate they believe will best represent our students and families in Glynn County, rather than representing a political party.

A write-in candidate is a qualified candidate whose name does not appear among the printed candidate names on the ballot. Instead, voters can enter the candidate's name themselves.

Step 1:

Find the race on the ballot.

  • Glynn County municipal races are after federal and state races but before ballot questions.

  • To look at sample ballots for Glynn County, click here.

Step 2:

Locate the write-in area.

Step 3:

Enter the candidate's name.

Helpful Reminders:

  • A list of qualified write-in candidates is available at all in-person polling locations

  • If you are voting by mail, a list of qualified write-in candidates will be included when you receive your ballot in the mail
