Hi, my name is Rachael Thompson.
I am an independent candidate running for Glynn County Board of Education - District 4.
Why independent? I am tired of the political divide and extreme rhetoric. I firmly believe national party politics has no place in our local offices and board rooms. Democracy works best when voters have real choices.
I am giving voters the opportunity to vote FOR someone, not against someone.
Why Board of Education? Glynn County Schools has a foundation of success with many community assets and resources, but families are still struggling. Providing families with resources strengthens the connection between home and school, helping students succeed academically and emotionally. When parents and caregivers have access to support and information, they are better equipped to guide and advocate for their child’s education. Let’s build strong families together.
